Nicole Kidman Avoids Talking Cruise-Holmes Divorce

While most scorned exes will take any opportunity to slam their former flame, Nicole Kidman continues to remain tight-lipped about ex-husband Tom Cruise’s recent split from Katie Holmes. Sources tell that Kidman, who was married to Cruise for nearly 10 years before the actor filed for divorce and famously took their two children with him in the breakup, refuses to get involved in the divorce drama and is even going to the lengths of avoiding her pals.

A source tells:

Nicole won’t talk, wants her privacy, wants to be left out of this and they (she and Cruise) don’t speak much. Communication between her and Tom is very limited.”

The actress, who was stunned when Cruise filed for divorce in 2001 – only two months after they renewed their vows and shortly after Kidman reportedly miscarried their child – has kept a very low profile since Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise last week. The source continues:

Nicole really does not want to be dragged into this or say anything to anyone. At some point though, she will probably be forced to say something, and she will most likely support Tom for the sake of their children.”

According to a shocking new report, after the dissolution of their marriage, members of the Church of Scientology turned Isabella and Connor Cruise against Kidman, calling her a “sociopath” and the actress has only recently reunited with her adopted daughter.

Bella and Connor have lived almost exclusively with their father and were raised in Scientology, following his split from Kidman. Isabella recently told Australia’s New Idea magazine:

I love mom. She’s my mom. She’s great. I see her sometimes [in Nashville] and I speak to her.”

Days after Holmes filed for divorce on June 29, Cruise hired Dennis Wasser, the same lawyer who represented him for his divorce from Kidman.
