It’s funny enough that three of the four couples MTV has named among the hottest celebrity couples 2010 have never confirmed their relationship. Either MTV knows more than it reports, or some things are just too obvious to confirm.

Anyway, according to MTV, these four couples are the hottest celebrity couples of the year.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart

MTV thinks that Twilight‘s sweethearts Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are the hottest couple of 2010. Never going public with their rumored romance, these two stars keep us guessing: are they or aren’t they?

Yes, we’ve seen them kissing off set, we’ve seen them on multiple dates, we’ve seen them get cozy in public but we’ve never got the dating rumor confirmed. Why?

Russell Brand and Katy Perry

The newlyweds Russell Brand and Katy Perry have also made it to MTV‘s list. This couple has been on everyone’s lips for the whole year, first after their secret engagement on New Year ‘s Eve in India and all the way to their highly publicized wedding in October.

Now, two months after the wedding, they keep fueling our interest with spicy bedroom details.

50 Cent and Chelsea Handler

Well, if you ask me I don’t think this couple even exists. However, MTV thinks Chelsea Handler And 50 Cent are hot enough together to be on the list. Do you agree with MTV on this point?

Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift

Coffee-loving couple Jake Gyllehaal and Taylor Swift are barely really seen together. However, those rare photos we have obviously show they’re really smitten with each other. Hope they’ll take their romance all the way into the new year too!
