Mrs. Brand: Katy Perry changes her name to Katy Brand
In her interview with Ellen DeGeneres last night Katy Perry said she had already started the process to legally take her husband’s name – meet Katy Brand!
Sometimes when people try to get my attention [they call me Mrs. Brand],” Katy Perry told Ellen. “Like if I’m at an event or something like that and they want special attention. They go, ‘Mrs. Brand!’ and I go shwoosh [looks back].”
It’s so nice to see that some like Katy, real name Katy Hudson, don’t keep their names after marriage only for professional reasons.
Katy Brand also sounds cool to me, but maybe it’s gonna take some time to stop calling her Katy Perry.
As you know Katy married her boyfriend of a year, British actor/ comedian Russell Brand on October 23, 2010 in India.
