Melanie Griffith Is Seen Wedding Ring-Free!

Melanie Griffith was pictured in Hollywood yesterday missing her wedding ring! The troubled actress who has been married to Banderas for 15 years wore a round diamond ring on her middle finger instead of her square-cut engagement ring. The couple has been rumored to be headed to divorce since April – when Antonio was spotted in Cancun kissing a mystery blonde woman.

A witness told Woman’s Day then:

They kissed more than once. At 2am, Antonio and his beautiful blonde left together.”

And it appeared that Melanie was well aware of what went on in Cancun and chose to “tolerate it”:

Melanie knows about it. She knew about it almost right after it happened. It doesn’t make her happy … but she tolerates it as long as Antonio comes home to her.”

But by the looks of things, Melanie may now have had enough as she got rid of her wedding ring. A family friend commented the situation:

Melanie’s a mess. Not only is she in jeopardy of losing the love of her life, but her career is in the toilet while Antonio’s star is continuing to rise. I think Melanie’s self esteem hit an all time low and she believed Antonio was torturing her. For years, it’s as if she’s been consumed with jealousy over his flirting and outspoken love for beautiful women. I don’t think Melanie can live with the constant fear that he might cheat.”

Marriage is supposed to be a commitment for life! They both made that to each other. He has been putting up with her drug abuse and paranoia for so long… Grifftith has obviously been putting up with his adultery for years, and still loving him…
