Kevin Jonas takes off his purity ring!

Singing trio Jonas Brothers are famous for wearing their purity rings that keep them celibate before marriage.

Well, part of their public success is due to these rings, actually.

Kevin Jonas, 21, the eldest of the three brothers is going to take off his ring pretty soon as he’s now engaged to his long-term girlfriend Danielle Deleasa.

Congrats, Kevin!

Kevin told People he proposed yesterday morning at the doorsteps of Danielle’a New J
orsey home. The girl said yes!

She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row!” Kevin told People Magazine. “It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world!”

According to the reports, both families are delighted Kevin and Danielle are tying the knot.

The couple met in May of 2007 in the Bahamas and were inseparable ever since.

One is off the market! Wonder if Joe, 19, who’s dating Camilla Belle is going to be the next.
