Kanye West and his fiancée Alexis Phifer broke off their engagement. According to exclusive interview for People magazine Phifer was sans her engagement ring on the red carpet at the “Evenings of Vogue” where she presented her clothing line Ghita last Thrusday in New York.
Rapper and hottie designer, both 30 got engaged in 2006 and never made it to an actual wedding. But they kept their friendship. Alexis said to People:
It’s always sad when things like this end, and we remain friends…I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He’s one of the most talented people I’ve ever met.”
Kanyes’ pal says:
Kanye is really focused on his show; he’s putting everything into the show right now. Alexis is a nice girl, but Kanye has been going through a rough time. They hit a rough patch and for now they’ve split.”
