Bachelor Forever: Ryan Reynolds vows to never marry again after divorce from Scarlett Johansson

They divorced six months ago in December 2010 but it’s the first time Ryan Reynolds talks about the painful split from wife of two years Scarlett Johansson. In his interview for Details Magazine Ryan said he was still not over the divorce and didn’t want to ever marry again.

Ryan Reynolds, People’s sexiest man alive, said the divorce had really changed him.

Any kind of crisis can be good. It wakes you up. I gotta say, I’m a different person than I was six months ago,” Ryan said. “Anyone who gets divorced goes through a lot of pain, but you come out of it. I’m not out of it yet. At all.”

In his interview, Reynolds also said he had no plans to remarry. Ever. But he added that possibly once he found the right person he could reevaluate his decision.

At this point the Green Lantern star is quite happy with his single status and doesn’t want to be in a relationship. And no matter how funny it may sound, Ryan doesn’t even know what to do on a date, as the whole courtship thing is “kind of alien to me at this point.”

I’m very happy not to be in a relationship right now. That’s okay. I didn’t plan on it, that’s for sure . . . but that’s okay,” Reynolds told the mag. “I’ve been in relationships pretty much since high school. Some people look at that as a good thing. I think wiser people might see that as a house of cards.”

Unlike Ryan Reynolds, who’s still mourning his once happy marriage, his ex Scarlett Johansson seems to be happy in her new relationship with actor Sean Penn. The couple were first spotted together in February this year and went public with their romance last month.
