Taylor Swift to Elle: “I Never Chase Boys”

Taylor Swift’s love life has certainly drawn lots of attention since the singer has dated such celebs as Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Joe Jonas and most recent Hary Styles, singer from a British boy band One Direction. Swift shared with Elle that no matter what speculators might say, she doesn’t chase boys:

I’m sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumor it would say I’m chasing somebody who doesn’t like me as much as I like him – people love that angle on me. They’re like ‘Oh Taylor, coming on too strong again, chasing boys. I never chase boys. They don’t like it!’

Covering the magazine’s March 2013 issue Swift talked more about her exes saying:

I don’t think I’ve ever yelled at an ex-boyfriend. Ever. I’m not a yeller. I’m not a fit thrower. If something is done, it’s done.

However, it is being discussed now whether or not the star dissed her recent ex-boyfriend Styles when she spoke in a mock British English during her opening Grammy performance. In the middle of a song the songstress took time to mimic a dialogue imitating her former flame:

So he calls me up and he’s like, ‘I still love you,’ and I’m like, ‘I’m sorry, I’m busy opening up the Grammys.’

The guests at the event tweeted the incident right away. Judd Apatow asked: “Did Taylor swift just do an English accent ?” while E! Online tweeted:

In a professional field the star returned to the studio right after split with Styles, tweeting ‘Back in a studio. uh-oh’ and signed an endorsement deal with Diet Coke. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together singer also covers a POP Magazine spring/summer issue wearing a checkered Louis Vuitton dress.
