Taylor Momsen’s fashion rant at Rihanna
Actress/singer Taylor Momsen is desperate to find ways to attract public attention to her D-list persona. As long as naughty comments don’t work (I mean those about women “pleasuring themselves”), Taylor has decided to go the well-known route – attack a fellow celebrity.
Taylor’s pick of the rant target is obvious. Everyone is interested in Rihanna (unlike Momsen) and many people love her style and her new image (ok, it’s a bit GaGa-inspired, so what?). No need to say, Rihanna’s got a way more fans that Taylor Momsen (fact!).
So what’s wrong with Rihanna anyway? Taylor Momsen thinks her leather jackets are awful! Rihanna’s love of leather is “annoying” and makes the wrong impression on people who come to think pop culture is a lot like rock culture.
People think pop is rock, and the lines are getting blurred. Now Rihanna’s wearing fuckin’ leather jackets, and it’s really annoying,” Taylor Momsen told Spin.
Oh, c’mon! Taylor Momsen’s the last on my list of style advisers.
BTW, wearing underwear as outerwear is so not special anymore! Admit it Taylor.
