Taylor Lautner is $7 million worth werewolf
He’s not only the breakthrough star of the year, he’s also one of the highest grossing teens of all time. Taylor Lautner, 17, is said to earn staggering $7 million for his next movie project bringing his earnings to a brand new level.
In Northern Lights Tay will play a pilot who competes in “extreme” flying contests. The movie that’s also reported to star Tom Cruise is directed by John Moore (Max Payne) and set for 2011 release.
Making $7 million at 17 seems like super cool but still doesn’t make him the highest tween earner. Macaulay Culkin reportedly made $8 million for Richie Rich (1994) when he was 14, Daniel Radcliffe made $11 million for Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire (2005) at 16, and Miley Cyrus earned some $26 in 2008 at the age of 16.
Still, I’m impressed Tay!
Even though earning hellova lot, insead of partying or shopping his fortune away Lautner is often seen in a gym piling pounds for Breaking Dawn (hopefully).
Jacob continually grows throughout the Twilight Saga, so I’m still going to have to put on a little bit more weight,” Taylor said. “I’ll shoot for another 10 [lbs]. We’ll see what I can do, but I’ll be working hard.”
Breaking Dawn hasn’t been officially confirmed by Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the Twilight Saga franchise.
