It’s the most original book promotion I’ve ever seen. King of Horror Stephen King cooperated with the Sports Illustrated cover model Bar Rafaeli for a pretty unique and original cover for Esquire’s special Stories of Out Time edition.
Bar covers the mag naked with only ink covering her body. A number of irrelevant words and sentences, you’d say? Nope! Rafaeli’s body is a living canvas for the opening paragraph from Stephen King’s latest short novel Morality.
I haven’t seen anything like that ever. So I wanted to be the girl who did it,” the Israeli model said.

Now tell me, are you envious of the graphic designer who painted the words on Bar’s drop-dead gorgeous body? The designer said the model’s smooth skin was the perfect canvas for him. Yeah, you bet.
But back to the book. Morality is set in out financial crisis time and tells the story of a married couple who face a dilemma. Wife “‘is approached by her employer with a proposition that could make their dream of a home in Vermont a reality. But will it be worth the moral consequence?” So the book basically asks the same old question: “what would you be willing to do for money?”

Morality is published in Esquire’s July issue. Don’t miss!
