Sexiest woman alive – Kate Beckinsale
Whiteout actress Kate Beckinsale covers Esquire‘s November 2009 issue as the sexiest woman alive 2009.
Kate does look sizzling on the cover and in the photoshoot and behind-the-scenes-video. It’s good to see someone else but Halle Berry be named the sexiest for a change.
Kate dons a series of sexy bikinis and black lingerie sets for the shoot but I love this pic more than any other. It’s fun and so lingerie trendy. Cute knickers, Kate!
This whole notion of being named ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’ is going to earn me quite a beating,” Kate said in her interview for the issue. “You can’t have that title with four brothers. I’ll get wedgies. Headlocks. Noogies,” she added though noting she wouldn’t like to have it any other way. “I like the idea of it, too. I do. I’m feeling that I must earn this. I need to go out and become much better at pole dancing or something.”

A memorable Kate’s quote? Here you go:
I worked with Emma Thompson when I was starting out. We went out to Italy and lived together during the production of Much Ado About Nothing. And she was fairly feminist at that time, and she’d say, ‘Let’s not shave our armpits, because they wouldn’t have done that in Shakespeare’s time!’ And I’d say, ‘Okay!’ I do [shave] now.”
