R.I.P. Kill Bill actor found hanged
It’s sad news, and it’s really shocking.
David Carradine, 72, famous for his 1970s TV show Kung Fu and Kill Bill saga, was found dead yesterday morning in his hotel room in Bangkok.
His naked body was found hanged in the closet of the room with a curtain cord around his neck and genitals.
No suicide note has been found but the police believe David died while performing an auto-erotic act which accidentally led to asphyxiation.
The crew could not find him after he failed to turn up for a meal on Wednesday night and a maid discovered his body at 10am yesterday, TheDailyMail.co.uk reported.
Mr. Carradine checked in Bangkok’s Nailert Hotel on Tuesday as he was shooting his latest film, Stretch, in the city.
Nobody wants to believe Carradine committed a suicide.
He was full of life, always wanting to work – a great person,” his manager, Chuck Binder, said.
However, in his previous interviews Carradine revealed he used to have suicidal thoughts before.
Look, there was a period in my life when I had a single action Colt 45, loaded, in my desk drawer. And every night I’d take it out and think about blowing my head off, and then decide not to and go on with my life. Put it back in the drawer and open up the laptop and continue writing my autobiography or whatever. But it was just to see,” he said in his interview for The Telegraph Newspaper in 2004.
My thoughts and condolences are with David’s family and friends.
