Madonna is returning to New York from London, but once she was in love with the UK just like Paris is now.
America’s sweetheart Paris Hilton has fallen in love with London and is not afraid to show it. The latest attention-grabbing feat occurred when Paris stepped out holding a sparkly union jack purse.
Paris has expressed her love for the UK through her wardrobe choices as she wore a top that bore the words ROYAL HIGHNESS. She is called the wannabe princess after she exchanged phone numbers with Prince William over at a party downtown in London.
The socialite is doing the My New BFF in England’s capital, and for that she has bought Victorian brothel, which she calls her dreamhouse.
It’s just beautiful. It doesn’t have regular rooms but is more like a maze. I love it here, I am going to move here permanently. I have already been here for one month and am much, much happier here. I love guys with English accents.”
The house has been a Chinese restaurant, a gin palace, an opium den and in the 19th Century it was a brothel. Metal joists where clients were manacled to the wall for their own pleasure have been sympathetically restored so the juicy past of the place isn’t lost. It’s thought that sailors, pirates and vagabonds made the short journey from the Thames to smoke opium and indulge in their wildest fantasies after months at sea. Paris really appreciated the quirkiness of the place – and the knockdown price for such a unique building – and immediately put in an offer.
On the cover of NYLON’s November issue Paris looks hot and she wants the world to know: she gets it. She also says she’s not as dumb as you think she is (and she knows you think that).
She states:
I’m smart and I know what’s going on. I can laugh at myself; I’m in on the joke. I know what you guys think of me, and I’m going to play into it and make you laugh at the same time.”
She claims to become America’s Ms. President. Perhaps she could try herself as Ms. Prime Minister.
