Marilyn Monroe, the book writer
Marilyn Monroe was smarter than you think.
Farrar, Straus and Giroux is said to be planning to release a collection of Marilyn’s writings this fall.
The book will include poems (!), correspondence, rare photos, as well as reproductions of documents handwritten by Monroe herself.
According to the publishers, the book will take a closer look at Monroe’s personality (real name Norma Jean) and present her as a smart person, or at least someone smarter than her Some Like It Hot character.
