Lady GaGa boycotts BP. Justin Bieber helps oil spill victims
A-list celebrities like Lady GaGa and Justin Bieber join forces to help the Gulf oil spill victims and raise money to deal with the disaster.
Lady GaGa, for instance, has refused to use British Petroleum oil for her tour bus boycotting the company that has put at risk life of both people and wildlife in the region.
While some prefer to boycott, others lend their voices to raise money to help the victims.
As it’s been revealed, pop sensation Justin Bieber will join Sting, Cameron Diaz, Kathy Griffin and Robert Redford for the special telethon organized by Larry King. The charity gig is airing Monday, June 21 at 8 P.M. EDT (midnight GMT), Aceshowbiz.com reported.
During the event Larry King will interview guest stars who’ll be taking viewers calls and donations at the phone banks.
The Gulf oil spill is a disaster both national and natural in scope, and the point of this effort is to get immediate relief to the people and Wildlife who are in urgent need,” Larry King said. “The telethon’s proceeds go directly to the relief organizations who are working on the frontlines to do just that.”
