Kanye West will have to pay back for his 2009 MTV Video Music Awards speech for a while longer.
Due to his infamous September 13, 2009 interruption of Taylor Swift Kanye has been named the Biggest Turkey 2009 in AOL’s five-day survey that wrapped on Monday.
West secured 42% of nearly 75,000 votes, and that’s hellova lot!
Kanye cemented his fate when he interrupted Taylor Swift while she was giving her acceptance speech at the Video Music Awards,” said Mike Hess, managing editor of AOL’s entertainment site, PopEater.com, co-sponsor of the poll. “He had a very bad moment, but he helped propel Taylor Swift to a whole new level of likability.”
The top five biggest turkeys this year are:
