Justin Bieber’s Bloodied and Beaten Up!

Justin Bieber seriously toughens up for the April issue of Complex magazine. In a shockingly graphic new cover shoot from photographer Tony Kelly, the slightly less squeaky clean pop star, 18, referees a boxing match – but things go wrong pretty quickly. Wearing a white shirt, black bowtie and black pants, the Baby singer gets roughed up by two beefy shirtless boxers. Selena Gomez’s boyfriend gets punched and bloodied in the imagined melee.

He also opens up to the magazine about his high-profile relationship with Gomez, 19 – and how it can be hard dodging paparazzi as they go about their romance. When it comes to Justin’s relationship with actress-singer Selena Gomez his views are realistic. Even though he tells Complex that he is not yet ready to open up on whether he is in love or not – Justin does explain that:

There’s no way to hide the relationship completely, because then it would be unfair to us. It’s like, ‘You take this car, and I’ll take this car, and then we’ll meet up at the spot. Then, you go in this door, I’ll go in this door. We’ll end up crossing ways. You get back in this car. We’ll cross over, do a James Bond. You go through the kitchen. I’ll go through the back area. Then we’ll meet in the dressing room and see each other.’ At that point, it’s not even a relationship. You’re just hiding from everyone. That’s unfair and unhealthy, man.”

Justin on the paparazzi:

I’ll be covering my face and it pisses me off so much when people say, ‘Get over it, Justin. You’re famous. People are going to take your picture. Suck it up, you’re rich…’ It’s like, ‘Yo, I just got off an eight-hour flight. I’m tired and my eyes have bags under them. I’m not trying to take pictures. I’m not going to come to your house, wake you up, and start snapping your picture.’”

Justin on his highly criticized photo shoot for V:

Every guy has feminine qualities. You’re raised by your mother and father, and I was raised mostly by my mother. I think the pictures turned out good—so whatever.”

In the interview Justin also addresses the numerous stories that have been written about him, but refuses to talk about the now infamous paternity suit that he was hit with by a 20-year-old fan Mariah Yeater. He jokes with the Complex mag:

Yeah, I’m actually a 40-year-old man in disguise.”

Justin Bieber is set to release his new single titled Boyfriend on March 26 from his highly-anticipated album Believe.
