Justin Bieber is the most influential teen, the youngest on Time’s list of 100 Most Influential People 2011
Time Magazine has compiled their annual list of 100 Most Influential People 2011. Surpassing all my expectations, Justin Bieber is also on the list, becoming the youngest most influential person this year.
Though the 17 year old pop star looks kind of out-of-place among politicians, presidents, big company founders and CEOs, writers, doctors and lawyers, he’s not the only celebrity among the most influential people in the world.
Justin is joined by the likes of Blake Lively, Bruno Mars, Amy Poehler, Sting, designer Tom Ford, Oscar-winner Colin Firth, actress Mia Wasikovsky (Alice In Wonderland), Mark Wahlberg, Mad Men’s creator Matthew Weiner, Chris Colfer from Glee, Oprah Winfrey, and Matt Damon.
From the minute I met Justin, I knew this kid possessed a certain confidence that only a star could have,” Usher wrote in Justin Bieber’s profile. “What’s interesting and will keep the world watching is that at the same time he’s having this incredible success, he’s like any other kid living a normal life.”
Congrats Biebs! (I still don’t get how come Blake Lively is also on the list.)
But for Oprah, none of last year’s most influential artists have made it to the list this year.
