Johnny Depp visited young patients in London hospital while premiering Public Enemies on July 1, 2009

He’s a great man. I love him.

While promoting his new gangster movie Public Enemies in London this Wednesday Johnny Depp found time out of his very hectic schedule to visit young patients in Great Ormond Street Hospital, the one his daughter stayed in back in 2007 when treated for life-threatening kidney failure.

Johnny dressed up as his famous Pirates Of The Caribbean character Captain Jack Sparrow and visited kids in several hospital wards. It was a surprise visit so you can imagine how thrilled the children were! Well, I would be if I were them.

Johnny was so friendly with all the children on the ward and they absolutely loved his pirate outfit. He spoke to lots of the youngsters and staff – and made their day by posing for pictures with them all,” ICYDK.com reported.

Johnny Depp dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow to visit kids in London hospital

Previously, Depp donated $1.5 million to the hospital after they saved his daughter’s life.
