Heidi Klum: From TV host to TV star
Heidi Klum who’s successfully crossed the model business/showbusiness borderline when first hosted Project Runway in 2004 now has scored a cameo appearance in the popular show Desperate Housewives to star as herself against the Wisteria Lane ladies played by Eva Longoria, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross.
The deal has just been inked with Heidi’s episode to air in March this year.
According to E!, Heidi and fellow model Paulina Porizkova will be playing themselves in the episode in which Gaby (Eva Longoria), who is a former model, and Angie (Drea de Matteo) run into the Project Runway host and former America’s Next Top Model judge in New York City.
The storyline will take place in NYC but the episode will be shot in Los Angeles.
The episode is described as “solely a female affair.”
This isn’t the first cameo for mother-of-four Heidi Klum. Previously, she appeared on Sex And The City, Spin City and How I Met Your Mother.
As to Desperate Housewives, the new season is full of guest stars. Apart from Klum and Porizkova, the show will also welcome Doctor Who star John Barrowman, Alfre Woodard, Nathan Fillion, Neal McDonough, Dougray Scott and John Slattery as their newest cast members.
