He Did It! Bruno Mars Avoided Cocaine Conviction By Exemplary Behavior

Soul breakout star Bruno Mars, known for his hit songs Nothin’ on You, Billionaire, Grenade is to avoid a conviction for cocaine possession after successful fulfillment of the terms of his plea deal. Mars, 26, whose legal name is Peter Hernandez, was arrested by law enforcement after a bathroom attendant at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino told a security officer that he had seen a man in the WC who he thought was using drugs in September, 2010. The attendant said that he could see a “male with a striped red shirt with a baggy of white powder substance.” Security than confiscated the substance that occured to be cocaine, and Bruno was taken to a holding cell before being taking in by LVPD.

The report also claimed that Bruno told the police officer ” he did a foolish thing and has never used drugs before.” The judge sentenced Bruno Mars to a probation 200 hours of community service at a non-profit organisation and eight hours with a drug counsellor in Los Angeles and $2,000 fine.

And after successfully keeping his nose clean for the past year and diligently serving his sentence, the Just the Way You Are singer looks set to walk off with a clean criminal record tomorrow. Actually, Bruno finished outdoing his requirement, working more than 230 hours for children’s charities and health-related non-profit organisations. Bruno would face up to four years in state prison if he had broken the terms of the agreement.
