Happy Birthday, Patrick Swayze!

You know what I would give for his birthday? A tango dance – the ultimate present for the best dancing big screen actor apart from .

The Dirty Dancing stud celebrated his 56th birthday yesterday on the set of his A&E series The Beast in Chicago, Illinois and he looked to be feeling just fine despite his battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was dressed elegantly in a suit and a purple shirt.

Patrick and his wife Lisa retired to the actor’s trailer for a private birthday lunch only to be surprised that the crew had decorated his digs and presented him with a birthday cake.

When Swayze returned to the set after lunch he found that the crewmembers were all wearing black t-shirts with white letters that spelled out “Crazy for Swayze”. Adorable!

Today is a birthday of one of the greatest Leo’s I’ve ever known. Happy Birthday D.I. ! Stay as cool as you are.
