Forbes Magazine compiled their Halloween ready annual list of the richest dead celebrities of the year. The 13 iconic figures on Forbes‘ list grossed a collective $886 million in the past 12 months.
Not bad, hah?

Topping the ninth annual list for the first time is Yves Saint Laurent, who earned $350 million past year after he died of brain cancer in June 2008. Much of his estate was auctioned off at Christie’s in February bringing him millions in income.

Fashion designer is followed by the song-writing duo Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein who rank second with combined earnings of $235 million.

King Of Pop who passed away in June this year scored third with impressive $90million in his pocket. The King is dead! Long live the King!

Last year’s winner Elvis Presley is ranked fourth with $55 million.

6. Charles Schulz – $35m
7. John Lennon – $15m
8. Dr. Seuss – $15m
9. Albert Einstein – $10m

13. Andy Warhol – $6m
