George Lucas is big league leader
Forbes.com announced their annual list of Hollywood’s Highest Paid Men.
The top three are famous Hollywood directors and producers with Star Wars creator, George Lucas, topping the list this year.
According to the magazine, from June 2008 to June 2009 Lucas has made $170 million due to his successful production company Lucasfilm that stands behind such box office breaking movies as Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
That’s quite a breakthrough for the director as it was only two years ago that he was ranked the 243rd on the same list.
Lucas is followed by the fellow director/ producer Steven Spielberg who made $150 million for directing Indiana Jones and producing Eagle Eye, The Trial of the Chicago 7 and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

3. Jerry Bruckheimer, $100 million
4. Jerry Seinfeld, $85 million
5. Dr. Phil McGraw, $80 million
6. Tyler Perry, $75 million
7. Dick Wolf, $75 million
8. Simon Cowell, $75 million
9. Bruce Springsteen, $70 million
10. Howard Stern, $70 million
