Friday tattoo battle: Beckham Vs. Osbourne

David Beckham shows off his tattoos

To have or not to have, that’s the question.

Two celebs talked about their tattoos yesterday and expressed diametrically opposite opinion about having tattoo (s).

The first was Davis Beckham who has an impressive collection of body ink. The sexy football player always says his tattoos express his attitude to his beloved:

The idea to get tattooed came to me a little while after Brooklyn was born. I was talking to Mel B and her then-husband, Jimmy Gulzar, and the subject of tattoos came up. I ended up going to this Dutch guy who’d done all of Jimmy’s,” he once said. “I’d finally realized what I wanted a tattoo to represent. Mine are all about the people in my life, my wife and sons, who I want with me always. When you see me, you see the tattoos. You see an expression of how I feel about Victoria and the boys. They’re part of me.”

Among David’s tattoos are memorial tattoos for sons Romeo, Brooklyn, Cruz, and wife Victoria Beckham, wings, cross, star tattoo, cherub tattoo and angel tattoo.

In his interview with Ellen DeGeneres he confessed getting another tattoo was his original present to his wife Victoria to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary:

I had 10 roses around my arms…for the 10 years,” he said and added that Viki “always seems to be happy with the gifts that I get her.”

Kelly Osbourne hates her tattoos

While David is a strong tattoo advocate, Kelly Osbourne expressed her disgust with her own tattoos saying they reminded her of her bad days:

Don’t get tattoos, please, because you hate them when you get older. I hate them,” she urged her fans in the interview for Access Hollywood. “I can’t play the piano and I have a keyboard because I went through my weird 80s phase and I was really drunk.”

Kelly admitted she was drunk when choosing tattoo designs and now they remind her of all the crazy stuff she did in her life.

Kelly has nine tattoos, two skull tattoos on her feet, angel wing tattoos on her back, keyboard on her arm and an anchor tattoo on her opposite arm, star on the back of her neck, and a heart on her little finger among them.

So, TO HAVE or NOT TO HAVE?
