Emma Watson is Burberry ad gorgeous
Say hello to a brand new Emma Watson!
She’s not that Hogwarts grind we used to know. Emma Watson reveals her new sexy and edgy self in the just released Burberry ad campaign for the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2009-2010 collection.
The photoshoot was shot by famous fashion photographer Mario Testino in Westminster, London.
I wanted the images to represent both the rich history and the modernity of the Burberry brand, while at the same time reflecting a quiet beauty, timelessness and strength that is particularly significant today,” said Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey, according to WWD.com
Emma looks chic in trench coats holding huge bangs and posing alongside young male models. Love her smoky eyes make up, and her bold new image for the campaign.
Burberry’s new line is said to be inspired by Virginia Woolf and the Bloomsbury set.
Having known and admired the lovely Emma Watson for quite some time, she was the obvious choice for this campaign who like the images she fronts, has a classic beauty a great character and a modern edge,” Mr. Bailey added. “Emma’s charm, intellect and brilliant sense of fun made the whole shoot feel like a picnic on the Thames. I felt Emma would be strong enough to hold the campaign as the only girl, and I loved the idea of her being surrounded by these young, cool British guys.”
The new ad campaign featuring beautiful and edgy Emma will break in the August issues of Vanity Fair, Vogue, British Vogue and Tatler, and on the Burberry site.
