Donald Trump is running for President in 2012
An unlikely Presidential candidate, to say the least, but Donald Trump says he’s thinking about running for US president in 2012.
If Donald does run for president in 2012, he’s going to represent the Republican Party and probably the Tea Party movement as he has “great respect” for it.
[I] have great respect for what the Tea Party has done because they have brought to light what’s going on. I mean, we have trillion-dollar deficits… the country is going bankrupt, let’s face it,” Donald Trump said in his recent interview.
FYI, once upon a time when Donald Trump went bankrupt himself, so he knows what he’s talking about.
Donald Trump hasn’t yet released a statement about his political intentions for 2012 but he hints running for president might be in the cards.
For the first time in my life, I’m actually thinking about [running for president],” Donald Trump told MSNBC.
His reason to run for president? Helping his country, of course!
I’d love not do it, [run for president], but the country has so many problems, such as the erosion of the manufacturing base to foreign competitors. The United States doesn’t really make things anymore,” Trump added.
Donald Trump has become a household name in the world of business and entertainment. His company is a US-based real-estate developer that also operates a string of resorts and casinos. Donald Trump also hosts and executively produces his own TV shows The Apprentice and The Fabulous World of Golf.
