Such stars as Jennifer Lopez, Sean P Diddy Combs, Moby, Halle Berry, Mary J Blige, Justin Timberlake, Victoria Beckham and David Beckham, Ludacris, actress Debra Messing, as well as TV personalities and stars of Broadway plays took part in a brand new stylish charity effort to raise money for Women In Need, a charity that provides shelter for homeless families in NYC and helps women get back on their feet.

Celebrity-decorated and designed houses are made of papier-mache and are as small as your regular Christmas present box.

Every celebrity added his or her own personal touch to the design and style and vibe of the house, coming up with both the architectural features of the tiny paper building as well as its exterior decoration and colors.

All the houses are currently being auctioned at Charitybuzz.com, the auction is held November 9th to November 30th.

New York City is my heart’s home,” Debra Messing said, according to WWD.com. “In these terrible economic times, I hope that people who are lucky enough to have a roof over their heads and a meaningful support system will give what they can to those in need.”

As to me some houses do look fab, some look pretty glam and some look funny. Here are my favorite two. The red one is designed by The Today Show hosts and the blue one is Moby’s. The blue one is the best.

Besides celebrities, your fave fashion designers also lent their helping hand to the project. The likes of Oscar de la Renta, Diane Von Furstenberg, Vera Wang, Donna Karan, and Isaac Mizrahi took part in the charity project.
