Ben Stiller saves the children
There are lots of conflict-affected-areas-children lacking education and enough care. That is not their fault that they can’t go to school.
Ben Stiller joined the global Charity organization Save The Children. He shared his shocking amazement after visiting Karamoja, Uganda where Save the Children is helping educate children, as part of its global Rewrite the Future initiative.
I visited Uganda this year and saw firsthand how Save the Children is making a difference in the lives of children in need. Even in the poorest, most remote communities, I saw children who were excited about learning and teachers who were helping their students to achieve. Save the Children’s education programs – many of them in areas of war and conflict – are bringing hope to children who clearly love the opportunity to go to school and try to rewrite the future for themselves and their communities,” the actor said.
As a part of his commitment to the organization, the 43-year-old actor will also appear at the ad prints with some other celebs like Willem Dafoe, Isabella Rossellini and Terrence Howard for Save the Children that has teamed up with Bvlgari jewelry.
Bvlgari brand has created a special silver rings line for the campaign. The rings are engraved with S. Bvlgari on the outside and Save The Children – on the inside.
The price for the rings will be $290. $60 of the price will go to the charity for Save The Children‘s Rewrite The Future campaign.
It’s so hard to see children longing for education and living in horrible living conditions. But it’s cheering my heart up when I see that there are such ready-to-help worldwide organizations aimed at children’s interests. Children ARE our future and the more we invest and help them today, the more they will be able to improve the world in years.
