The panel that’s chaired by First Lady Michelle Obama and co-chaired by film producer George Stevens Jr and theatre producer Margo Lion (Hairspray) is set to focus on education, cultural diplomacy and economic development through the arts and humanities.

The committee that consists of 25 panel members also includes cellist Yo-yo Ma, philanthropist Teresa Heinz, architect Thom Moore, ballet dancer Damian Woetzel, actresses Kerry Washington (The Last King of Scotland) and Alfre Woodard (Desperate Housewives).
