5 V-day romantic movie heroes
I get kinda sentimental about all this St. Valentine’s Day stuff. The closer it gets the more sentimental I become. So this list is my attempt to fight this vibe, or to yield to it, if you wish.
So these are hot romantic movie heroes that come to my mind when I think about Valentine’s Day.
William Shakespeare, Shakespeare In Love (1998)
Joseph Fiennes was an amazing William Shakespeare. It was one of his best roles, and one of my favorites, actually.
Can there be anything more romantic than when a guy writes a poem (or a play) because he found his muse, and his muse is you? I think that tops all romantic deeds actually!
Chris Nielsen, What Dreams May Come (1998)
I know it’s more of a drama than a romance, but anyway. When a man is ready to go all the way from heaven to hell just to be with his beloved… that speaks louder than any blank “I love you.”
Nelson Moss, Sweet November (2001)
Oh, Keanu Reeves is a cutie! Especially in this flick. He portrayed a guy who could sacrifice, love, sympathize, do crazy things, make everyday a special day, and appreciate every minute spent with his woman (Charlize Theron). He actually portrayed an ideal man.
Landon Carter, A Walk To Remember (2002)
Shane West played in this sweetie-pretty teen movie but nevertheless I can’t help but include his character in my list.
What I liked about his character, Carter, is that he could change to make the girl fall in love with him. And isn’t being able to change something girls so often look for in guys and so rarely find?
Edward Cullen, Twilight (2008)
Robert Pattinson as a young vampire was very romantic. There is something hot about vampires, don’t get me wrong, though.
Jack Dawson, Titanic (1997)
Well, Leonardo DiCaprio instantly comes to my mind when I think about romance and movies. His role in Titanic made millions of girls cry their eyes out when watching him freeze and drown in the cold waters of The Atlantic.
I got a confession to make, he made me shed a tear too.
