Jessica Alba appears in a new shocking bondage-inspiring campaign for the voter group Declare Yourself.

She seems not to be afraid to put some shock into the values she believes in. Alba says:

I think it is important for young people to be aware of the need we have in this country to get them more active politically. People respond to things that are shocking.

If you don’t register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself.”

The dramatic image resonates with the issue of voting, according to the 27-year-old star.

What’s good for some people is totally unacceptable for others. Lots of celebrities are dreaming of making Playboy spread and are all for it when offered posing nude for the mag, but Lindsay Lohan says no to nudity.

According to Page Six, Mean Girls star has turned down a $700,000 offer to do an eight-page topless spread in Playboy’s 55th-anniversary issue this January. “If there’s nudity, then the answer’s no,” Lohan’s rep told Playboy’s creative consultant.

He added she’s not going down this road again, meaning her sizzling and naked Marilyn Monroe tribute for New York magazine last winter. Well judging by those pics, she was taking nudity pretty easy.

Playboy’s creative consultant Hal Lifson hoped to have Ms. Lohan do a tribute to ‘60s sex kitten Ann-Margret and her film Kitten With a Whip, which is said to be one of Lohan’s favorites.

Hey, Playboy why don’t you offer that money and that chance to get nude on camera to someone else? Lindsay seems to be the last shy girl in Hollywood. Forbes love making top lists and I just love to see celeb names on them. It must be a part of human nature to have an itch to know how much other people earn, to see if you’re getting financially better or worse than somebody else, to see who manages to reach the top and who ultimately fails.

So Forbes created a list of Top earning Prime Time TV stars during the year-long period (June 2007 – June 2008). Here’s the prime time rich babe list:

1. Tyra Banks, America’s Next Top Model, $23 million

Tyra was working both in front of and behind the camera this year. She’s got her daytime talk show and is producer and judge on the CW’s hit reality competition series. Last fall, she also signed a multi-year deal with Warner Bros. to develop more projects, among them are Stylista, a CW reality show set in the magazine world, and a direct-to-DVD series based on the best-selling Clique series of books for teens.

2. Heidi Klum, Project Runway, $14 million

Heidi renewed her Victoria’s Secret contract last year, headed up another season of Project Runway and hosted Germany’s version of America’s Next Top Model. She also tried her hand in designing including three lines of Mouawad jewelry and one of Jordache jeans. Ms. Klum has inked new contracts with Diet Coke, McDonald’s, Volkswagen and Bella Fontanis water. Her skincare line debuted in June.

3. Katherine Heigl, Grey’s Anatomy, $13 million

Heigl has been working on both small and big screens this year. Besides Grey’s Anatomy, she starred in Knocked Up (2007) and 27 Dresses (2008). Katherine’s also the face of a Nautica fragrance and spokesperson for a line of medical scrubs.

4. Eva Longoria, Desperate Housewives, $9 million

Eva is so far the best earning housewife of all the housewives. Besides doing the show she’s also a spokeswoman for L’Oréal Paris and Bebe Sport.

5. Maura Tierney, ER, $7.5 million

Besides playing doc on ER, the Emmy-nominated actress recently graced the big screen in Will Ferrell’s Semi-Pro and Tina Fey’s Baby Mama.

6. Mariska Hargitay, Law and Order: SVU, $6.5 million

Analyst Catherine Willows is not the only role Marg’s played this year. 2007’s Mr. Brooks and this year’s Columbus Day helped her reach number 7 on the list.

Max Factor celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2009, and guess what a present the cosmetic giant has to mark the occasion with? They’ve got the new face. And it’s the world’s richest supermodel and a real hottie Gisele Bundchen.

“Max Factor is a brand that has touched some of the most glamorous faces in the world for the last 100 years,” Gisele said. “But more than that, I love that this was the original brand to make that professional artistry and glamour available to everyday women, and I’m honored to work with Max Factor in continuing that great tradition. The Victoria’s Secrets’ angel will front the ad for Max Factor’s ColorGenius Face Collection, replacing Carmen Electra, who was the face of the company for three years. The ad campaign will hit magazines this October.

“She’s the image of our high fashion consumer,” Max Factor’s associate marketing director Bruce Katsman noted. “She’s rocked the runway so she’s perceived as a great canvas. We think she does the same thing for makeup.”

Cute name, hah? World famous hotel heiress knows how to attract pubic attention. She’s totally greedy for it. According to Page Six, Paris Hilton has craftily manipulated the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival, which is considered the Cannes of Canada, in an attempt to gain more publicity for a new documentary about herself called Paris, Not France.

Paris Hilton forced festival organizers to cancel two of three screenings of the film that’s set to premiere Tuesday.

“We wanted to create more buzz – create some hype . . . We felt the impact would be more extreme if we had one screening,” Paris’ rep told the source.

Paris is thought to be trying to make more money for the movie when it is released commercially via artificially drawing excessive public attention. It’s not known if Paris has a financial interest in the flick.

The film is described to “explore the businesswoman and the human being behind the public persona” of Paris. Film director Adrian Petty created the film in close cooperation with the Hiltons getting full access to Paris, recording in-depth interviews with her parents, her sister, Nicky, and other family members. The film also features Donald Trump, Camille Paglia and Michael Musto.

Natalie Portman made her debut as a director in Eve as she opened the short films section of the Venice Film Festival earlier in the day.

Eve is a short film which concerns “a young woman named Kate, who visits her grandma Lola for dinner, and is surprised to find her grandma is on a date with a man named Joe.”

Film fans queued round the block to see Eve, which includes Lauren Bacall and Ben Gazzara in the cast.

And there are more good news for Natalie as she picked up a Humanity Award in Venice on Sunday. The Star Wars beauty received the first-ever Movie for Humanity Award for her work with social and environmental programs.

The Oscar-nominee donated her $50,000 prize to the Jane Goodall Institute in Tanzania, where Portman supports the Tacare Girl’s Scholarship Program.

The 27 year old Israeli born said:

The Jane Goodall foundation does incredible work in Tanzania, an area which is very environmentally affected. I really appreciate this award.”

British super model Kate Moss has been a muse to many. But for one artist she’s a definition of dream. On August 28th solid gold sculpture of Kate was unveiled in London. Marc Quinn has created second statue of Moss and this time its gold.

Just recently Kate has been in the Interview magazine posing nude driving you all out there crazy craving for her. Now she is made in gold and will be presented and available for you to see in the British Museum in London starting from October, 4. The statue, entitled Siren, has been billed as the largest gold statue built since ancient Egypt and will be part of a group of major sculptures by leading British artists to go on display very soon.

Created by Marc Quinn, whose previous masterworks include the marble sculpture Alison Lapper Pregnant, which appeared on a plinth in London’s Trafalgar Square.

The exhibition is a fitting setting for the 50kg statue of Pete Doherty’s ex, as she is “interacting with the great Greek beauties that surround it.”
